Nova is a gorgeous silver spotted female from our Lalu and Ludo litter, born May 24th.
She has beautiful contrast with rich, dark markings and rosettes that are already opening so nicely. I absolutely love her head, beautiful straight profile, nicely shaped muzzle, lovely thick tail, and overall expression. She is such a wonderful example of the structure we are looking for within the Bengal breed.
Nova has such a confident, fun personality and is also incredibly sweet. She is very playful, loves kitty wrestling with her siblings, and carrying her toys around. She also loves to play and gets along great with our Australian Cattle Dog, Athena.
She also loves spending time with me for snuggles and absolutely melts for gentle belly rubs and booty scratches. Nova has the cutest chatty side and will talk back to me when I talk with her, which is adorable. She also loves to snuggle and she is a total purr machine, sleeping close to me all night.
This is a very special pairing for our program. Lalu is a TICA Champion and earned 2024 Best Seal Silver Mink Bengal of the Year. She is affectionate, social, playful, talkative, and loves being involved in everything. Ludo is our glittered silver TICA Champion with beautiful dark markings, strong horizontal pattern flow, an expressive face, and an incredibly gentle and affectionate personality.
Nova is already showing such a beautiful combination of the qualities we hoped to see from this pairing. She has the striking contrast, beautiful structure, confidence, playfulness, communication, and affectionate nature that make Bengals such engaging and deeply connected companions.
At BougieBengals, our kittens are raised in our home as part of our family. We focus on so much more than appearance. Our goal is to raise kittens who are beautiful, healthy, confident, emotionally connected, and well prepared to become deeply loved members of the family.
Our program has a strong natural rearing and holistic wellness focus. From the very beginning, we pay close attention to nutrition, immune support, emotional development, social confidence, and each kitten’s individual needs. We believe that true wellness includes the whole kitten, not only physical health, but also emotional balance, resilience, curiosity, and the ability to form strong connections with their families.
Our kittens are raised on a species appropriate raw diet designed to support healthy growth, digestion, immune function, skin, coat, and overall development. Nutrition plays such an important role in long term health, and we feel strongly about giving our kittens the best possible foundation during these critical early stages of life.
Behavior and cognitive development are also a very important part of our program. Our babies are gently handled, raised around normal household life, and given age appropriate opportunities to explore, problem solve, build confidence, and learn through play. We carefully observe each kitten’s personality, communication style, energy level, and individual preferences so we can better understand who they are and help guide families toward the kitten who may be the best fit for their home.
We want our kittens to experience the world in a way that feels safe, positive, and enriching. They are given the time and support they need to develop confidence at their own pace while building trust with people and learning how to navigate new experiences. This thoughtful approach helps create kittens who are not only social, but emotionally secure, adaptable, and deeply connected.
One of the most meaningful parts of our program is the lifelong support we offer to our families. Our relationship does not end when your kitten goes home. We are here to help guide you through the transition, nutrition, behavior, development, bonding, and any questions that may come up as your kitten grows.
With our specialties in animal behavior, cognitive development, holistic wellness, and species appropriate nutrition, we are able to support our families in a much deeper way than simply placing kittens. Our goal is to help every kitten thrive for life, not only while they are here with us.
